Art Walk Music Coordinator
I’ve been the ArtWalk music coordinator for the last 12 years. Each year I bring together a diverse group of professional & amateur musicians (many of them my good friends) who volunteer for the day to share the joy of live music. It gets better and better each year! Many of you know me as Ivy of The Ivy Team – Keller Williams Realty. I’ve worked in the Beacon Hill area for 25+ years. My early training was in music and I studied cello performance at BU school of Arts, Tanglewood… Now I enjoy playing benefit concerts and bringing classical music to those who might not ordinarily attend a classical concert. Stop by the ArtWalk and enjoy Mozart flute quartets from 12-2. I’ll be playing with several freelance players I performed with earlier this year. From 2:30 – 5:00 I ‘ll be joined by musicians including Fensgate Chamber Players for Mozart Viola Quintets on the steps of the Vilna Shul. Come on by and say hi.
