Artist Bio
As a filmmaker rooted in editing and color grading, drawing with pencil and charcoal offers me a quiet, tactile way to explore the same emotional contours I navigate on screen. Each portrait – be it of people, plants, insects, animals, or vehicles – is drawn from my own photographs; captured moments that linger in the mind like half-remembered dreams. Working in black and white, I explore the emotional weight of shadow and light, learning how texture and contrast shape perception – lessons I carry into every frame I cut and every tone I balance. Drawing is not a departure from my film work, but a companion to it. A silent study in how feeling lives within form, and how the absence of color can say everything.
