Artist Bio
Peter Zimmerman began work with glass in 1991 as an apprentice in Centralia, WA. He worked as a production glass blower in three studios in the Pacific Northwest and in 1997 was given an opportunity to work on the island of Bermuda.
Materials and Techniques: Borosilicate Glass Flameworking is a technique utilizing a torch to melt solid glass rods and glass tubes to form the work. Colored glass rod, fine silver, 24K gold and dichroic are used to create the designs
