Bio for Website: Paula Slowe is an award-winning photographer, artist, and civil rights activist who’s work falls at the intersection of community outreach and social change. Using her art as a tool to amplify marginalized voices and challenge systemic injustices, her work brings attention to often untold stories. In 2024, Slowe founded the Davenport Gallery, a nonprofit art gallery committed to empowering local artists and creating a vibrant, inclusive space for community-driven projects. Slowe has shown her work in galleries across the country, including Cape Cod’s renowned Post Office Gallery, the Oxford Arts Alliance, the Liberty Hotel, and most recently at the Seaport’s Midway Gallery. Paula remains deeply committed to using her platform to advocate for positive change.
