Artist Bio
I am an Arlington resident who works in primarily 2 media : watercolor and glass. I have experimented with pastel, charcoal drawing and oils, but always come back to watercolor and glass. I occasionally teach through the Arlington Center for the Arts and at the Cape through the Hydrangea Gallery in Osterville.
Materials and Techniques: For many years, I’ve done plein air watercolors and hot glass, often seeing a crossover of the two forms through transparency, light and color. In 2024 I started to bring the 2 together, by bringing paintings to the hot glass studio and deconstructing the paintings and reconstructing with color overlays and glass techniques. I plan to display the two together this year.
