Artist Bio
Madison Fogg is a New England raised, Boston based artist whose primary mediums include oil, acrylic, and pastel. Taking inspiration from the environment around them, Madison enjoys creating celestial and landscape art, playing with lively colors that make it seem like our environment comes from a different world altogether. Madison can be found getting lost in the streets of Boston chasing clouds and too busy staring at the moon to be paying attention to where they’re walking.
Materials and Techniques: Most of my work is made with either acrylic or oil paint, or chalk pastel. I begin by collecting reference photos or spending time outside with my sketchbook drawing from life. Once in the studio, I like to be free with my paint strokes and generous with my use of colors, letting my intuition guide my hand as the environment guides my inspiration.
