Kelsey Nickerson is an abstract artist whose love for painting goes back as far as she can remember. Her paintings are alive with color, texture, and focus on process. Kelsey's inspiration for her pieces comes from mapping and map making as well as the relationship between color and space. The traces of the process in her paintings are powerful because they are a record of time and movement but are also surprising in the rediscovery of forms and unveiling of buried layers.
