I suppose I realized that I had a certain type of talent by reproducing, in drawings, close-ups of the Beatles faces from teen magazines at 12 years of age.
Obtaining a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1974, I then went on to study at Schiller College(Chateau de Pourtales) in Strasbourg, France with an MFA in painting.
In November 2014, I celebrated, in collage, 25 years of freedom for the Berlin Wall at the Gutman Library, Harvard University. This series documents the beginning of the makeshift, cinderblock wall until its demise in November, 1989.
