Chris Tanner
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, I've attended UCLA, MIT, and now Brown University for my formal education. My passion photography started 10 years ago, when I took my first flight ever (to San Francisco). Since then, it's blossomed into a huge piece of my life -- I have taken considerable efforts to travel abroad, with the sole intention to experience and photograph SouthEast Asia and Africa. Having now been to 22 countries, I frequently interrupt my PhD studies to work and live remotely, as this is where my heart smiles the most. It is my deepest passion and intent to experience as much of the world as I can, to capture the stories and emotions, and to pass them on for others to have a glimpse and take from it what they will -- potentially resonating and creating entirely new emotions and stories.
