Bernal Murillo - I have lived in the Boston area for the past ten years, previously in Somerville, currently in Dorchester. My paintings are my main artwork. I use many types of paint: acrylic, oil, airbrush, and pens and colored pencils. I paint on canvas, panels, and recycled materials such as canvas from old coffee sacks and boards. I make my frames myself, from both new and recycled wood.
Some of my paintings are realistic, such as the birds; some is from my imagination. They all have a story behind them. I sell my paintings at local art shows and festivals such as the Beacon Hill Art Walk and South End Open Studios. I also sell them in the Artists Crossing Gallery in town.
