Cheryl Aldridge, located on Beacon Hill, has attended studio art classes at the Museum of Fine Arts since 1994. She studied drawing and pastel painting with Carmella Yager, drawing and oil painting with Judy Ryan, and watercolor, since 2002, with Bill Commerford.

Prior to dedicating her time to animal portraiture, she enjoyed a long career in real estate management at the Prudential, management and development at Boston’s historic Old North Church, and successful fundraising for Historic New England.

Her two faithful companions, Maine Coon cats Paprika and Wiscky, inspired her to capture their unique personalities on paper, which led to concentrated efforts to do the same for others, including clients throughout New England, and in Chicago, Tennessee, and Florida.

She is a member of the Artists Crossing gallery and works onsite every Wednesday afternoon. Her work is also known in Spain and Portugal where she and her chef-husband frequently travel.
