Myra MacLeod
I am a New England Fiddler and teacher of violin. I was brought up in Boston, and now live in Worcester, where I teach and perform with Blackstone Cuil (blackstonecuil.com). I learned to play the violin at the South End Music School, Boston, many years ago, then went to Mass College of Art to study painting and illustration. I wouls have stayed with art, if I had not heard a Celtic fiddler perform 30 years ago! I began playing in night spots and parks in Cambridge in the 70’s, and played since in various folk groups.
