Barbara Hayes creates her works of art using oils and acrylic paints on canvas. Ms. Hayes has been painting for more than thirty-five years with commissioned art in the homes of Boston’s prominent Pastors, a Captain of the BFD and a United States Surgeon General. Ms. Hayes received the Black Achiever’s Award in 1996 by the YMCA of America. She has exhibited her artwork throughout the Boston area as a member of the Black American Artist Association, no longer a member of the BAAA, she continues to exhibit from her home studio and in private homes by request. Commissioned works of art can be requested by those viewing her websites or by word of mouth.
