Leah Litin has been doing mixed media work for fifteen years and painting for the last five years. While her subject matter varies, her enthusiasm for color is boundless. The endless variety and surprise of color is how she incorporates emotion in her artwork. Her main influence is Fauvism, with its wild exuberance of color.
Leah revels in natural beauty. When the weather permits, she is out painting landscapes en plein air. The beauty of nature buoys her inherent optimism and is reflected in the lively colors she utilizes.
